Loud fighting sounds resonated at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
The WKBL Rising Star Team sweated in the Ariake Arena auxiliary gym at 4:00 pm on the 28th, the day before the event match of ‘W League All-Star 2022-2023 in Ariake’.
The WBKL Rising Star Team, which faces Japan’s W-League All-Stars, consists of 12 young players under the age of 25. On the afternoon of the 27th, the team was convened at the Hanawon Q Cheongna Gymnasium in Incheon, and teamed up once, and entered Tokyo, Japan on the morning of the 28th. After that, I started training right away.
Prior to training, the players started with stretching to enhance their senses, followed by ball handling training and physical strength training. I figured out the individual’s physical condition by running for a long time back and forth. The 5-on-5 training that followed was reminiscent of a real battle. The faces of the players were bright, but their eyes were serious. As time passed, the players’ breaths got better little by little. 스포츠토토
Coach Jeon Joo-won (Woori Bank), who took the helm of the WKBL Rising Star Team, showed a demonstration and passionately coached the players. He did not forget to point out the players’ shortcomings in the middle of training and give advice to boost their morale.
Coach Jeon Joo-won said, “I focused on teaming up with the players. It’s the first time I’ve teamed up with these members. It doesn’t happen overnight. But the players are working really hard. .Finding confidence through this stage is the most important thing. I want you to enjoy the game without getting hurt. Of course, if you do better than that, it will be perfect,” he smiled.
Na Yoon-jung (Woori Bank) said, “It’s the first time I’ve been working with my peers like this. It was different and fun. There are many players I played basketball with in high school. The atmosphere was very good. I had fun working out. No matter what, I hope everyone can enjoy it without getting hurt.
