Meatwillan won the second leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) qualifying third round tie for the 2023/24 season 5-1 against Omoni at the MCH Arena in Henning, Denmark, at 2:00 a.m. ET today.
Mitwylan lost the first leg 0-1 to Omoni, but bounced back with a huge win in the second leg to advance to the playoffs on a 5-2 aggregate scoreline.
Mittwylan was aggressive from the start. In the first minute, Olsson set the tone with a deflected shot. In the 11th minute, a penetrating pass from Cho Kyu-sung allowed Franculino to get a shot off, but it went straight at the keeper.
Mittwillan kept pounding away, and he got his chance. In the 24th minute, he was awarded a penalty kick. Cho Kyu-sung stepped up to the spot and converted to give Korea the lead.
Omonia didn’t back down. In the 31st minute, when he was one-on-one with the keeper, he slotted the ball past the keeper to equalize.
Mittwillan pushed for more goals. In the 43rd minute, Cho Kyu-sung got his head to a sharp cross but was denied by the keeper. However, from the ensuing corner kick, Franculino found the back of the net for a 2-1 lead.

The second half was all Mittwylan. In the 19th minute of the second half, Franculino completed his hat trick with a stunning left-footed volley.
Mitwylan consolidated. Gigovic scored the fifth goal with his right foot. 5-1 to OMONIA.
