The Italian Serie A secretariat announced the best goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and strikers of the 2022-23 season through its official channels on Feb. 2 (KST).

These players were recognized for their performances on the Italian stage this season. Goalkeeper Ivan Provedel (Lazio), who kept a whopping two clean sheets in 37 games, was the winner.

The reason was clear. Kim Min-jae is the only one of the three players to win the EA Sports Player of the Month award for September. He was nominated in March, when he lost out to Hvitsa Kvarachelia. Hernandez only received a nomination in September, while Di Lorenzo was not even nominated.
