Chelsea have clearly expressed their intention not to easily allow Mason Mount’s transfer.
England’s ‘Cut Offside’ reported on the 30th (Korean time) that “Chelsea has notified Liverpool to pay 70 million pounds (approximately 112 billion won) if they want to take Mount.”
Mount is called Chelsea’s ‘sacred bone’ midfielder. He started playing for the Chelsea youth team at the age of 6 and earned full support from Chelsea fans as he progressed to the Chelsea first team.
It had enough potential. Mount predicted a bright future with his dedicated performance of 13 goals and 16 assists while playing 53 games last season.
The atmosphere this season is quite different. I couldn’t melt into director Graham Porter’s tactics. Despite appearing in 32 games in a variety of positions, he only managed 3 goals and 6 assists.
His future at Chelsea was also uncertain. Mount’s contract with Chelsea expires in 2024. Chelsea tried to renew the contract early, but could not narrow the difference in salary.
Liverpool filled this gap. Liverpool are said to be looking to sign Mount in preparation for the departures of James Milner, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the summer.
Detailed negotiations were also held. Reports suggest that Liverpool have recently held talks with Chelsea about a possible move for Mount this summer. 먹튀검증
Liverpool are bound to be in trouble. ‘Cut Offside’ analyzed that “Given that Mount has only one year left on his contract, Liverpool are unlikely to pay £70m.”
“To be able to bring Mount is a huge opportunity for Liverpool. Liverpool are in dire need of a player to bring vitality to the midfield. If Mount gets back on track, he will be key to Liverpool for the next few years.”
